How it Works
Download text recovery software from the website. Download
Start Install Text Recovery Tool for Word:
- Press on downloaded Microsoft Word repair installation in browser
- Select a downloaded installation file in Windows Explorer and press Enter or double-click on it.
Please confirm warning message:
Run installation wizard of software for repairing corrupted word documents:
Run program for repairing Word file:
- Double click on the icon on the desktop:
or
- Select from the main menu: Start | Programs | Word Recovery Kit | Word Recovery Kit
6. Please choose a corrupted MS Word or Rich Text file (files with *.docx, *.doc, *dotx, *.dot, *.rtf extensions) on the starting page of the Microsoft Word repair wizard in Word Recovery Kit:
Press Analyze button to start Microsoft Office Word file repair:
Please confirm the start of corrupt or damaged word file recovery:
The tool will read and analyze a damaged Word file within several minutes. Later on, you will see that the program was able to recover text from docx document that was damaged or corrupted.
Press the Start recovery button. Select how you want to save the restored data after recovering a corrupt docx file:
- 10.1) save directly as a Microsoft Word file (Export to MS Word)
- 10.2) save as a text file (Save as Plain Text)
Choose a file name if you selected item 10.2:
On the last page, you can see a detailed log of the MS Word recovery process:
